You’re Invited to our 10th Birthday Bash!

By Ericka | May 22, 2020

This week, The Sound of Hope turned 10 YEARS OLD! We’ve been working to give HOPE to children around the world for a decade. THANK YOU to each and every one of our incredible donors who made this milestone possible!

While it may seem strange to celebrate at a time like this – with #COVID19 affecting all 4 of the countries where we care for children – we couldn’t let this date pass by without recognizing our amazing donors. Your generosity over the past 10 years has helped change the world, and you’re continuing to support the 189 children in our care during this global pandemic. WE ARE SO GRATEFUL! And we’d like to celebrate you this Saturday night!

It would mean so much if you’d tune in to our Virtual Birthday Bash – on our Facebook page – tomorrow night! We’ll have some fun videos to share, a few prizes for our attendees, AND an hour of live music from our talented friends J Patrick Reed & Kristin Mathis!

Be sure to respond to the event HERE to get our updates [and find out how to win the prizes!] and follow the hashtag #SOHBDAYBASH. The “Watch Party” will go live at 8pm tomorrow night from our main FB page. Just hop onto Facebook, go to our page, like it (if you haven’t already) and you should be prompted to join! (If not, then pop back onto the event page for real-time links and more info!)

We’ll also have opportunities to #giveHOPE – through 2 specific fundraisers that will provide care for vulnerable children during this global pandemic. We’d love it if you’d buy a “virtual ticket” by giving a $10 donation to celebrate our 10th birthday!  Helping us meet our $10,000 goal would be the best birthday gift!

While it’s disappointing not to be able to celebrate this birthday the way we’d planned to… we’re excited to spend some time focused on HOPE! We know we can still have a fun, family friendly night together while saying #saferathome. So please, invite your friends and make plans to celebrate with us! 💛
