Introducing our Hands of Hope Collection!

By Ericka | February 06, 2013

After 2 years of dreaming about these pieces, and over a year of working to make them a reality, we are thrilled to finally share our new *Hands of Hope Collection with you!

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, we’ve unveiled 10 of these beautiful thumbprint necklaces. These unique pieces of jewelry feature the thumbprints of 10 of the orphans and vulnerable children we support in India, Burma, and Swaziland.

These necklaces are one-of-a-kind, just like the precious children they support! Each charm features one child’s thumbprint, marked in 99.9% Pure Silver. Their name is hand-stamped beside their print, with the word HOPE hand-stamped on the back of each charm. The charm comes on an 18″ oxidized sterling silver chain.

When you order this one-of-a-kind necklace, you’ll also receive your child’s photo and bio in the mail. The proceeds from your purchase will go to directly support the Children’s Home or Carepoint where your child lives and receives the love and care they need. So every time you wear this necklace, you’ll know that you helped give that little boy or girl HOPE.

You may not have noticed this, but  you can find fingerprints in The Sound of Hope logo, as a texture on our website, and on our printwork. To us, they’re a reminder that our work is focused on one (very special, unique) child at a time. Each of us have a fingerprint – unique to us, and only us. Just as their fingerprints are unique and special, every child around the world has a unique story and a special dream! We always want to remember that, and we want our donors to remember that too. We aren’t working just to fight issues, or to change statistics. We are working to rescue, protect, and care for children… one at a time. Every life matters. Every child matters. And we believe every child should have the opportunity and the HOPE to someday reach their dreams!

So please, visit our store today and purchase one of these beautiful new pieces. If your Valentine has a heart for orphans, then these would make the perfect gift!

*We want these extra-special items to be a personal way for our donors and friends to connect with the precious children we care for. Our Hands of Hope Collection will (hopefully) expand in the future to include other products made with fingerprints or handprints from our kids overseas. The kids really love these projects, and they get so excited hearing that someone thinks they are special enough to wear their fingerprint!
