Sustainability Projects at The Refuge

By Ericka | October 12, 2014

We knew our partners had some great sustainability projects at this Children’s Home – but we were blown away when we actually got to see them in person! The house parents at The Refuge are using every square foot of their small piece of property to make this home as sustainable as possible, and they’re teaching the children valuable life skills too! From frogs and fish to turkeys – they are raising animals they can eat and sell. They’ve even added some geese since we shot this footage last week!

We were so impressed by their hard work, and we know you will be too. So check out this video for an up close look at these amazing projects!
