This is the very first year these 8 little girls will spend at The Promised Land Children’s Home, so we want to be sure it’s special! For just $60 you can sponsor one child in our Thailand Home this Christmas. This will provide them with a Christmas gift (a new pair of pants and a warm jacket), a special Christmas meal, and a party (complete with goody bags, cookies, and santa hats!)

All of these girls came from impoverished mountain villages where they had been orphaned or abandoned. Many were at risk of abuse or trafficking. Now they are all in a safe, loving home – so we want to be sure that they feel extra special this Christmas!

Thailand Sustainability Projects

At our Children’s Home in Thailand, the largest monthly need is food. With 8 growing little girls, it can be expensive to put 3 meals on the table each day!

To supplement their meals, our partners would like to dig and stock 2 fish ponds and a frog habitat. This will not only provide sustainable food sources for the home; it will also teach the children valuable life skills!

It costs just $400 to build one fish pond or frog habitat (cement, sand, stones, labor), and $100 to stock each habitat with frogs, catfish, and tilapia. If you’d like to invest in a gift that keeps giving – then this is the project for you!

Give a child a fish, and you feed them for a day. But dig a fish pond at a Children’s Home, and you’ll provide thousands of meals for these little girls for years to come!

Christmas is coming in India, but WINTER is already there! With each passing day, the temperatures continue to drop. Our hearts are with the 81 little boys and girls we support in Delhi and Kolkata at this time of year, and we want to do everything we can to make sure they are taken care of in the cold weather. It’s not toys or candy they need this Christmas, it’s BLANKETS and SWEATERS!

So, as you’re shopping for Christmas gifts for your loved ones, would you please buy an extra gift for a child in need? Just $20 will buy a child a warm blanket, and $30 will buy one warm winter outfit! These are neccessities that the children need to make it through the winter! Will you help us make sure every single one of our kids gets tucked in under a warm blanket every night?

There are 35 children at The Anchor Center Carepoint in Swaziland who need help with their school fees this year. Just $215 will provide school fees for the entire 2014 school year for one child. Even a $20 donation could be the difference between a child being able to buy a school uniform or pay their school fees, and them having to sit out of school for a year.

Children who do not have the money for school fees often get in dangerous situations in Swaziland. Sometimes, entire families go hungry in order to afford an education for even one of their children. Other times, young girls sell their bodies in exchange for school fees.

Your financial gift could be a matter of life and death for these kids. Empowering them with an education makes all the difference for children in need! This Christmas, invest in the life of a child!

School fees are due in January, so we need your help to raise these funds in time!

In order to do this full-time work of fundraising, empowering and advocating for our kids around the world, we need funds to operate our organization. Donations given to the ADMIN Fund provide for our operational expenses, one modest salary, and travel expenses so that we can work around the clock for hundreds of children trapped in horrific poverty. We need at least $25,000 of dedicated ADMIN funding for our organization to start 2014 in a healthy place. 

We have accomplished so much for our kids in India, Thailand, Burma and Swaziland, but there is more work to be done! We look forward to continuing to share the stories and needs of our children around the world – but we can’t do it without your help!
