The Birmingham Spotlight Gala
If you live in Alabama and you’re looking for something fun to do this weekend, then make plans to attend the very first Birmingham Spotlight Gala!
This event is presented by the Zeta Chapter of Chi Sigma Iota – which is the Honor Society for Counseling students at UAB. They had a great idea to make a difference by helping out some local non-profits. They decided to put together a formal event that would “spotlight” 3 different charities – all helping children (both locally and internationally) with the hopes of helping them gain attention and support from individuals in Birmingham. All three charities will also receive a portion of the proceeds raised at the gala. We were thrilled to be chosen as one of the three organizations that will be honored at this event!
There will be live music, dancing, drinks, hors d’oeurves, and a live and silent auction. It will be held in the McWane Center in downtown Birmingham this Saturday night – from 7:00pm until 11:00pm. There’s still time to get tickets – so if you’re interested, click here to purchase yours!
