Christmas in India :: Update & Prize Pack Winner!
As our Dec 15th deadline has passed, it’s time to give you all an update on the Christmas in India fundraiser. As many of you know, we have been raising funds for blankets, winter clothes, and winter school uniforms for our 86 children in 3 Children’s Homes in India. We’re happy to report that we’ve had several people get involved in this fundraiser in special ways! A few people set up online fundraisers, and the Gibson family decided to forgo “big gifts” this year and pledged their Christmas money to the cause (challenging friends and family to do the same!) Another donor had a trunk show, and donated a portion of her profits to this need. In all, it was encouraging to see people get involved to help us give HOPE and warm winter clothes to these sweet kids!
The first $1,000 we raised has already been sent to Asha House for their winter needs, and they sent us back these sweet pictures. So you can be encouraged in knowing that your money is already at work – keeping this precious kids warm right now!

We raised a total amount of $2,550 – which left us with a ways to go for our $7,070 goal. So even though the official “deadline” for this fundraiser is over – we will leave it open if people want to continue to give to this need over the next 2 weeks!
I will go ahead and announce the winner of our Prize Pack though! Brooke Gibson – who sacrificed her Christmas for these sweet kids, and raised the MOST amount of money for this fundraiser – is the winner of our beautiful collection of gifts from around the world!
Congratulations Brooke! Thanks for helping us GIVE HOPE!
