The Sound of Hope

donate now

13 years

By Ericka | May 28, 2023

This month we’re celebrating 13 years of The Sound of Hope! 13 years of love and safety, healthy food and medical care, school fees and job training, little libraries and community gardens! 13 years of giving kids HOPE all over the world… and we’re not done yet!

Will you help us keep going? Keep giving! Education is HOPE for vulnerable children. As we wrap up the school year here in America, school fees are coming due for our kids in Thailand and Swaziland (eSwatini, Africa).  Donate $13 (or $130, or $1300!) to celebrate our birthday, and help give some very deserving kids the chance to go to school!  Keep reading for all the details…

THAILAND

Baan Choo Jai Girls Home

$1,000 will sponsor one high school girl in Thailand. This amount includes their school fees, books, uniforms, shoes, supplies, and transportation!

[Total need: $4,000]

Nipha & Sawika (right) have already been sponsored!

We still need sponsors for Panidah and Suchanan (left).

Several of the girls from this home have gone on Nursing School, and 2 of them are now employed as nurses!

NetNaRee (above) works in the Maternity Ward of a hospital in Chiang Mai,

and WaNeeDah (below) works in an Elder Care facility in the city.

We are so proud of these young women, and thrilled to see how their lives have been changed by having access to an education! We hope you’ll donate and help us keep the other girls at this home in school for another year.

AFRICA

Swaziland School Fees

$400 will sponsor the school fees for one student in Swaziland. We currently have 11 students who need sponsors.

[Total need: $4,400]

These donations have been truly life-changing for the Swazi students we support thus far!

You can hear some of their personal stories in the video HERE.

Anchor Center Preschool

[Total need: $1,600]

$1,600 will pay the teacher’s stipend for The Anchor Center Preschool in Swaziland for another year (serving 14 students!) This preschool serves the 5 year old students at The Anchor Center carepoint. It helps them learn English, so that they are prepared to begin Primary School.

Can you imagine starting first grade without knowing the language your classes are taught in? The Anchor Center Preschool is equipping young students to begin school with the language and skills they need to succeed!

So please, help us send some very deserving kids to school, so that they can have the HOPE of a better future! Every dollar given makes a difference!
