$10,000 for 10 years
This month marks 10 YEARS of #givingHOPE. 3,652 days of providing rescue, protection, and holistic care to vulnerable children around the world. A decade of providing life-saving, world-changing support to kids in Thailand, Burma, India, and Africa.
That’s a milestone to celebrate – and celebrate we will! We’re hosting a Virtual Birthday Bash to look back at all of the incredible things we’ve accomplished – thanks to the generosity of our many donors… but we’re not done yet!
COVID-19 is affecting all 4 of the countries where we work and care for children, and there are urgent needs that we must respond to. There is nothing we’d love more for our birthday, than to know our kids and local partners are well cared for during this global pandemic. Will you make our birthday wish come true? Will you help us raise $10,000 to celebrate our 10th birthday?

SWAZILAND NEED = $9,000
Our partners in Eswatini (Swaziland) have delivered hundreds of food boxes to the most vulnerable children and families we serve since the country began their lockdown – but those supplies will run out at the end of May. As they work to find new local sources for meals, it is vital that we ship a food container from the USA to Africa.
A single container like this one will hold 280,000 servings of rice – fortified with vitamins and minerals. This food will be distributed to the children and families most in need at our Anchor Center carepoint – and other care points in rural Nsoko. But first – we have to pay to ship it.
$9,000 will get this food into the hands of those who need it most. This breaks down to just 3 cents per serving! For only 3 pennies, you could feed a hungry child a warm meal.
These are trying times for all of us – but surely we can spare a few cents? Let’s stand together to be certain that these precious children don’t go hungry.
INDIA NEED = $1,000
Simini is the loving House Mom to 11 children (along with an additional staff member, Esther). We’ve worked with her for over a decade, in partnership, to care for orphans and vulnerable children in India. She is more than just our partner – she’s our dear friend.
For years Simini has been dependent on public transportation – but all buses, trains, taxis, and rickshaws were shut down as part of the COVID19 lockdown across the country. For weeks now, she’s been dependent on neighbors to supply the home with food, due to a complete lack of transportation for herself. In an effort to prevent this from happening in the future, she’s conquered her fears and learned how to ride a motorbike! Now we want to buy her a bike of her very own.
We know that there are many uncertainties during this global pandemic, and public transportation is no longer a reliable or safe option. This motorbike will help prevent her exposure to the virus (since she won’t have to ride on crowded public transport when it does re-open), be available around the clock for medical emergencies (should a child need to be taken to the doctor or hospital), and also ensure that she’s able to get food and other necessities for the home without interruption. Will you help us meet this need today?
