OxfordFest 2013

By Ericka | October 09, 2013

Last Saturday we set up our first ever booth at a craft fair – otherwise known as OxfordFest! This is a huge event every year in my hometown of Oxford, AL, and we were excited to be a part of it!

OF1

We had a great time visiting with friends, family, and donors, and introducing new people to our beautiful handmade items from around the world!

OF6

It was an awesome opportunity for people to #shopHOPE and to make a different in the world with their purchase. We also got to share a lot of fun stories about our work, and answer questions.

OF4

It was unexpectedly HOT on Saturday (which made it tough to sell warm scarves!) but we still had a great time.

 OF5

The most encouraging thing was to see the people who would stop by just to drop off a small donation. Whether it was $2 or $20 – it was nice to see that people still care. Oxford, AL – you are a generous bunch! Thanks for filling up our donation jar!

OF2

Thank you to the OxfordFest Committee & everyone who stopped by our booth!

*If you didn’t get to come to OxfordFest but like what you see, keep checking back in our online store over the next few months! I’ll be working hard to get some of these items up for sale online before Christmas.
